I have decided to add some info about the highlights of our trip, and links to the companys I think are worth having a look at.
Fisrt stop Kruger Park South Africa
We were booked on a tour with Livingstone Trails. Are tour stayed at a 3 star lodge which was a very good way of going on safari. You can camp in the park, which is also ment to be good.

Cape Town
I think the best thing we did was to higher a car for the day. It cost about 30 - 40 pounds, but among other things, we drove around to cape point, along Chapman´s Peak which has amazing views, and went to table mountin.
We stayed at Nine Flowers http://www.nineflowers.de/guesthouse/cape_town/ which was great. Also worth popping into the food lovers market near the water front just off the end of long street.
Guatemala - Flores
If you don´t mind very basic accommodation and some hard work, ARCAS is a worthy cause and a lot of fun. Don´t be fooled by the parrots, they are all barstards and will bite you, or poo on you, at the first opportunity. Flores is a very pictures and friendly place and very handy for going to see Tikal.

Peru
Lima - One place I wouldn´t stay at is the Manhatton Hotel in Lima. We had a 13 hour stop over in Lima so we decided to book a fairly basic hotel close to the airport to get our head down. We arragned a pick up, which left the airport before we came out of the baggage reclaim (my bag didn´t turn up again so mot really there fault). When we fianly got to the hotel they charged us twice, ok fair enough, but it was $15 a time. It´s less than 5 mins by car! So 3 transfers and a night in the hotel cost about the same as the posh hotel at the airport!
Cusco - The hostel we stayed in was called the Walkon Inn http://www.walkoninn.com/ This was more like a B&B than a hostel and very close to the main square. Highly recommended. If you like your food check out the Fallen Angel http://www.fallenangelincusco.com/ Great food, pricy for Peru but cheap compared to home. I´d even recomend staying there if you have more money than sense!
Cusco seemed like a good base to get to the places we wanted to go to. Although we did get an over night bus to Puno, had a day trip then got the over night bus back. The busses in Peru are very good, not like the coaches we get back home. Get a first class ticket and the seats go almost flat!
The Sacred Valley tour was very good, but if you have time it would be worth having a day each at Pisco and Ollantaytambo.
I´ll add more later! If the spelling is bad, it´s because I can´t spell, and the spell check is in spanish.
