We've never missed a flight before, had to run accross an airport to catch a flight or not had our bags at the end of the journey. Tick! The flight from cape town was very delayed, missed our flight from Heathrow and had less than an hour to get through imigration and accross Miami airport. No wonder when we arrived at Guatemala we only had our hand luggage and smelt like we hadn't washed in weeks. It's lucky we had our sleeping bags and mosquito net and not a lot else! The bags turned up today thank god!!!
We are off to the animal centre tomorrow a day behind, but the B&B here is really nice, so not all bad.
Glad you've arrived safely in Guatamala what a pain about the flights, good you've got your bags back. Great photos of SA love the one of the ostrich. Don't work too hard with the animals!!!
ReplyDeleteLove Mum & Dad.
Sounds like a hectic journey! Good news that you have got your stuff though and are not going to have to fashion will a new hat from your mosquito net.
